Ignoring IPs

There may be IPs and/or ranges you don’t want to block even if they’re in the blocklist, but also don’t want to whitelist in fail2ban (perhaps you’re connecting via a commercial VPN).

You don’t need to list the standard reserved IP ranges as these are automatically ignored.

If you’re using the Premium version of WP fail2ban you can configure the IPs via the UI:

If you’re using the Free version of WP fail2ban you’ll need to edit wp-config.php:
